The Fall Show and Conference was held on October 24-25, 2009 at the Hilton Garden Inn on Hwy 183 in Irving. Our speakers were recruited by John Hansen. It proved to be one of the most enjoyable and successful conferences we have held.

On August 15, 2009, we continued one of our favorite traditions – a “Pool Party” at Mike & Dianne Stewart’s house. We always call it a pool party but the truth is, very little (if any) swimming occurs. But it is always one of the most anticipated meetings of the year.

On June 20, 2009, the monthly meeting convened at Deep Sea Aquatics in East Dallas. Owner Dan Engmark gave a wonderful tour of the production facilities, including the construction of a 90 gallon tank as we watched. Dan also presented excellent thoughts concerning the future of the hobby as it concerns manufacturers.
